Seasonal Complaints
You know what I remember? I remember when spring, summer, fall and winter all got their equal shares in a year. I remember when the gradual, 60-70 degree fall was a four-month event. I remember when winter hung around for a while and we all got Winter Madness by late February. I also remember when spring lasted more than a week. This year, March felt like late, late May. This year marked the first time I've ever had to mow the yard in March. Is it really too much to ask for an even four months per season? This month, snow should turn to rain and terperatures should see a steady but gradual rise to warm, mid-seventies. Don't get me wrong; I love summer. But this year summer's looking like it's heading for a seven-month stay. That's over half the year! Long story short, 2012 really is the end of the world, starting with this crazy weather.
